The high quality Studio Album covers are manufactured in Germany and are made with flexible leather or rigid bookbinder covers with a unique mini-ring system. Pages are printed by Carsand-Mosher Photographic on professional Kodak Endura paper giving a tonal range that no press-printed photo book can match.
Album covers have a 2.75 inch square cut-out window and each album can hold up to 16 pages (32 sides) in either 8x8, 8x10, or 8x12 formats. Two print surfaces are available: Luster (which minimizes finger prints), or Metallic gloss (for exceptional visual interest and depth).

Software
Clixxpixx Design Suite software is provided at no cost by Carsand-Mosher Photographic. Once installed on your computer there is no need to be online to organize your album, so you can work at your own pace. The easy to use software offers you a wide selection of pre-designed page layouts. You can add borders, drop shadows, background effects, text, and also convert colour images to black and white or sepia tone.
Step 1:
Download the Design Suite software from www.carsand.com and install on your computer.
Step 2:
Choose your album or calendar format size and select a design layout
Step 3:
Drag and drop your images into the pre-designed page layouts.
Step 4:
Transmit your order via the internet, or ‘burn’ your finished album to a CD and bring it to one of our locations. You can even mail the CD to our Truro location.

It helps if you organize your image files ahead of time for easy access while arranging your album.
If you have photo editing software, we suggest that you do any necessary colour correction before importing the images into your album. Only basic image correction is possible with the album software.
Once you have started your album or calendar, if you wish to change the size format it is necessary to start a new album.
Your studio album files are locked when you submit your order, so Carsand-Mosher technicians are unable to make any changes to colour, density, or spelling.
The default print surface is Luster. If requested at the time of ordering, your studio album can be printed on Metallic gloss paper at extra cost (see price list).
Luster and Metallic pages cannot be mixed in the same studio album.
The minimum album size is 8 pages (16 sides) and the maximum number of pages that the album can hold is 16 (32 sides). When ordering more than 8 pages (but less than 16 pages) refer to the ‘add sides’ price column.
Orders will be ready for pick-up within 5 working days of ordering.
Internet ordering instructions:
When ordering via the internet, please indicate in the comment field, the pick-up location (Truro, Barrington Street, or Bayers Lake).
If you want the album printed on the optional Metallic paper, please indicate this in the comment field.

Postal charge within the Maritimes is $12.00, and $20.00 for other Canadian destinations.
Clixxpixx Design Suite software will not run on MacIntosh (except for Intel chip models with PC emulator software)
If you design your own pages in 8x8, 8x10, or 8x12 formats we can print Studio Albums for you. You would ftp the files to us (ftp instructions are located in the bottom section of our home page).
